Press Release: Connected Women's Health Category Launch

Revitalize Physical Therapy Launches "Connected Women's Health" as Local Survey Finds 85% of Women Feel Their Symptoms Are Linked, but No One Has Explained How

Hales Corners women's health clinic marks 10 years and more than 1,600 women served with its first Connected Women's Health Annual Report

MILWAUKEE, Oct. 29, 2026 — Revitalize Physical Therapy, a women's health physical therapy clinic serving the Milwaukee area, today announced Connected Women's Health, an approach to care built on the idea that a woman's symptoms should not be treated in isolation. The launch comes with the release of the clinic's first Connected Women's Health Annual Report and follows "Exposing the Gaps: An Evening Redefining Women's Health," an invite-only event held Oct. 21 for clinicians, referral partners and community advocates.

The report surveyed 47 current and past Revitalize clients in the Milwaukee area about their experiences with the healthcare system. Among the findings:

  • 85.1% feel their symptoms are connected, but no one has helped them understand how.

  • 83.6% have experienced three or more different symptoms in the past five years.

  • 80.9% have received conflicting information from healthcare providers about their issues.

  • 53.2% have seen three or more providers for their issues.

"Women are doing everything right. They show up to appointments, they follow the advice, and they still leave with more questions than answers," said Dr. Brenda Heinecke, PT, DPT, CSCS, founder of Revitalize Physical Therapy. "Pelvic pain, poor sleep, gut issues, hormone shifts and stress usually aren't separate problems. When each one is handled by a different provider who never sees the full picture, women fall through the gaps. Connected Women's Health is about closing them."

What Connected Women's Health Means

Connected Women's Health looks at how body systems influence one another rather than addressing one symptom at a time. At Revitalize, that work is guided by the Revitalize Remedy™, the clinic's proprietary framework. Every client begins with a Core 6 Assessment covering the nervous system, sleep, gut health, nutrition, hormones, and strength and stability. Care then moves through three phases: Renew, Retrain and Revitalize.

The model also positions the physical therapist as a coordinating first stop. When patients need deeper medical or functional workup, Revitalize refers them to trusted partners and keeps the care connected.

Exposing The Gaps

The Oct. 21 event brought together a panel of women's health clinicians, including Dr. Heinecke, to discuss where women's care breaks down and what coordinated care can look like. Attendees included physicians, midwives, doulas, chiropractors, lactation consultants, mental health professionals and leaders from Milwaukee-area women's health and community organizations.

"This survey is a starting point," Heinecke said. "We plan to publish the Connected Women's Health Report every year so we can track whether women are getting the coordinated care they deserve, and push our profession to do better."

A Decade Of Women's Health In Milwaukee

Dr. Heinecke founded Revitalize Physical Therapy in April 2016. Over the past 10 years, the clinic has served more than 1,600 women through pregnancy, postpartum, perimenopause, menopause and beyond. Through the Revitalize Birth Academy, Heinecke also trains pelvic floor physical and occupational therapists in birth preparation care.
